virtual tours can be put on CDs in much higher resolution than on the web

Virtual tour files on the web must be kept small, (round 100/150kb), to make download times reasonable for people still using dial-up connection. This effects the quality of the picture, and if the tour was not taken properly in the first place it can result in some pretty awful panoramic tours.
At 360 virtual tours we take our originals in high quality .tiff format of some 30 Megabytes.
A CD image can be quite large, (2-3 MB each - that’s 20 to 30 times larger than for the web), resulting in stunning rotatable tours, which do not need Internet connection to be viewed.

There are excellent uses for such a CD presentation:

  • As a personal record of your home and to send to relatives and friends.
  • To send to serious buyers, especially those who cannot easily get to look at the house.
  • To give to serious buyers of new homes, incorporated inside the brochure.

Because of download times a CD tour cannot easily be shown on the web, but if you are willing to wait a little while for the a file to download, click here to see a 1MB image of the house in the real estate page.
